MHT CET 2024 Application Form Live Updates: Maharashtra CET cell has started the MHT CET Registration 2024 for PCM and PCB courses. Candidates can apply using the MHT CT Application form 2024 link available here. 

The link to apply has been activated on the official website mahacet.org and portal.maharashtracet.org. MHT CET application form 2024 is available only in online mode. Note that candidates have to complete the CET portal registration to access the application form for various CETs including the MHT CET registration and application. MHT CET application form 2024 last date to apply is March 01, 2024. Check link for the MHT CET 2024 registration and catch live updates here. 


MHT CET 2024 application fee is as follows:

  • For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates: INR 1000/-
  • For Candidates of Backward class categories [SC/ST/OBC/VJ/DT- NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/SBC/EWS/PWD Candidates from Maharashtra State etc]: INR 800/-
  • All ORPHAN/Gender - Others candidates will be charged: INR 800/-

How to Fill MHT CET 2024 Application Form?

To fill out the MHT CET registration 2024 form, candidates have to follow the following steps:

  • Open the MHT CET 2024 official website - cetcell.mahacet.org.
  • Click on "Candidate Registration A.Y 2024-25".
  • Register for the CET portal by filling in the required information and clicking on the submit button.
  • Upon successful registration, candidates will be redirected to the CET portal.
  • Candidates can access the link for the ‘register’ link and fill out the online MHT CET application form.
  • Fill the required information in the MHT CET application form to complete the process.
  • Upload scanned images of the photo and signature.
  • Pay the application fees.

To fill out the MHT CET 2024 application form, the applicant must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Maharashtra. The candidate must have completed or be in the process of completing class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, along with any of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Technical Vocational subjects. To apply for MHT CET BTech and BPharm candidates must have 45% marks in 10+2 (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) and to apply for DPharm course, candidates need 50% marks in 10+2 (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC).

  • Click on "New Candidate Registration".
  • Register for the exam by filling in the required information and clicking on the submit button.

  • How to prepare for MHT CET 2024

    • To excel in the MHT CET 2024 exam, it is imperative to have a solid grasp of the syllabus and exam pattern.
    • The syllabus is primarily based on classes 11 and 12, hence, candidates need to focus their preparation on studying the topics from these classes.

      The following category of candidates are domiciled in Maharashtra

      Type-A
      Candidates passing SSC and also HSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State
      Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra
      Type-B
      A candidate whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possesses a Domicile Certificate.

      Type-C
      A Candidate whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.
      Type-D
      A Candidate whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.
      Type-E
      Candidates passing the SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognized institution in a Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi. The 865 villages of Maharashtra Karnataka Border area notified by the State Government for this purpose shall be considered.

      The Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET 2024 PCM exam for engineering from April 25 to 30. For Pharmacy courses, the exam will be conducted from April 16 to 23.


    • MHT CET Paper Pattern 2024

      MHT CET 2024 exam will be conducted in two groups; PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Candidates who apply for engineering courses have to appear in the PCM group while candidates who apply for pharmacy courses have to appear in the PCB group. The selection of PCM/PCB courses has to be made while filling the MHT CET 2024 application form.

      As per the MHT CET syllabus, a total of 20% weightage is given to the questions from the class 11 syllabus, and 80% weightage to the questions from the class 12 syllabus while setting the question paper. Each paper will be of 100 marks and the duration will be 90 minutes.
